Chef Marina's Taco Seasoning Recipe

What’s the secret?!! Ground Crossover Blends™ tacos have been a hit in the test kitchen. We’ve made them with beef, lamb, and pork Crossover Blends™ but we’ve yet to decide on the ultimate winner, because they’re perfect every. time.


We got curious about what makes them so good, so we took a peek at Chef Marina's notebook. We think her special secret is a special taco seasoning she made. It's got a unique mix of spices that really amps up the flavor, making it the perfect starting point for making these delicious tacos at home. So we’re sharing it with you so you can try it too, and perhaps confirm if our suspicions are true!

 PRO CHEF TIP

“I make a big batch (x4) and keep it in a mason jar for future use. I like to use about 2 TBSP of the mixture for 1lb of meat.“ - Chef Marina 


Ingredients: 

2 TBSP chili powder 

1 TBSP ground Cumin 

2 tsps corn starch 

1 tsp kosher salt 

1 ½ tsp hot smoked paprika 

1 tsp sweet paprika 

½ tsp garlic powder 

½ tsp onion powder 

1 tsp brown sugar 

½ tsp cayenne pepper
